Jos - Nasarawa Police Command have arrested a man identified as Emeka accused of defiling a 13-year-old girl in Chief Mailumo Sambo Close, Jarawa village, Jos, Vanguard reports.
The suspect, who was accused of having his way with the girl severally, was almost lynched by neighbours when he was caught in the act.
The victim, a primary five pupil, said Emeka had been sexual affair with her since last year and compensated her by giving her money.
It took the intervention of the police to rescue the suspect from angry neighbours especially women who were ready to lynch him.
